Rhuddlan Castle

Built by King Edward 1st in 1277 and completed in 1282 ,it sits allongside the River Clwyd in Denbighshire,which was dredged and straightend so deliveries by ship could be made.The remains of Twthill Castle built in 1073 can be found close by.
