Porthmadog Harbour

After William Maddocks built the famous Cob embankment,this village became a bustling harbour.From its port,hundreds of ships carried slate and emigrants to every corner of the world.Today the harbour offers shelter to sailing boats enjoying the beautiful Cardigan Bay.
