Bala Lake

Bala lake is a large natural lake about four miles long and is a mile wide and about 150 meters deep which is inhabited by an ancient fish called the Gwyniad which cannot be found anywhere else in Britain.Used for water sports and sailing boats for recreation it is a popular attraction with a narrow gauge railway running along one side of the lake,the lake runs into the River Dee.
