The Famous falls near Betws-y-Coed is the site where the River Llugwy comes crashing towards the Conwy Valley.Its English nane is actually a misnomer-the native name Rhaeadr Ewynnol,the Frothy Falls-mistaken for Rhaeadr y Wennol,the Swallow Falls.
