The Great Orme herd are Kashmiri goats originally from Northern India, and were imported into this country in the last century.They were used for making Cashmere wool. King George IV was gifted a pair and started the Windsor herd.The billy goats are chosen from the Windsor herd for the mascot of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers and a few have been selected from the wild young billy's on the Great Orme Llandudno.
