Llyn Llydaw seen here from the summit of Snowdon, Wales highest mountain,lies in a cwm tucked under the flanks about a 3rd of the way up this majestic mountain.The Miner's and Pyg path can be clearly seen and are walked by many thousands of visitors every year .
Folklore claims the lake to be the home of The Lady of the Lake from Arthurian ledgend where Sir Bedivere cast back the sword Excalibur.
