Moel Famau -Clwydian Range
Moel Famau Country Park is situated in the Clwydian Range which straddles the border between the County of Denbighshire and Flintshire. At its highest point 1818ft above sea level the remains of the Jubilee Tower can be seen.Building started in 1810 to commemorate George III's Golden Jubilee 1760-1810. In 1862 a storm blew the incomplete tower down, and to make it safe it was demolished down to tne ruins of the base you see today.
