Conwy Castle and Town
Built by James St. George of Savoy on the orders of Edward 1st between 1283-1287.To rub salt into the wounds of the Welsh,much of it was built on the site of one of the country's holiest abbeys and its stones used to build the English castle.It is today on the World Heritage List.
