St Cwyfan The Island Church

The church of St Cwyfan near Aberffraw Anglesey can only be accessed from the mainland at low tide via a causeway.The church holds two or three services a year in the summer and special services such as weddings.The church was rebuilt in stone in the 12th century and has had several adaptations and restorations since. The church is surrounded by the sea at high tide,the land around eroded away.
